![]() PayPal has always stuck to blue in terms of the corporate color, yet the shade has been modified. Also, the letters seem to have grown a bit wider, which is especially visible when you look at the “y” character. The most noticeable one is the new “a” character. However, there are a couple of differences. The clean, round sans-serif type of the 2014 PayPal logo may seem very similar to the one used in the previous emblem. This combination of colors evokes a sense of reliability and professionalism, showing the serious approach of the company to its mission and purpose, and at the same time readiness to implements all the latest technologies to simplify the processes. The icon is composed of a gradient blue square as a background and two overlapping letters “P” in white and a very light shade of blue, closer to sky-gray. The white, light blue, and dark blue colors make the simple and minimalist image bright and instantly recognizable. The PayPal Icon is executed in the iconic color palette of the payment system. The former is supposed to be emphasized by the monogram with overlapping double P, while the idea of forwardness is communicated through the strengthened italics. There are two key themes for the company’s new identity: connection and forwardness. However, some designers pointed out that the older wordmark worked better on various background colors, while the new one could not provide good contrast on certain backgrounds (blue, for instance). It was clearly an improvement in terms of legibility. Also, the typeface became cleaner, while the space between the letters grew larger. Instead of the white wordmark, the company received an emblem featuring two shades of blue. In 2007 the PayPal insignia went through a drastic change. The italicized letters were glued to each other. The lettering was executed in a modern sans-serif typeface with distinct contours and sharp angles. It was a white inscription where each of the letters featured a thick blue outline. The very first logo for PayPal was introduced in 1999 and stayed with the famous online wallet for eight years. It was then that the company became well-known under its current name and got its first logo, which was just a white wordmark with a blue border. However, in 2000, after the merge with the online banking company X.com, its main focus moved to money transfer business. ![]() Originally it specialized in security software. but once you save it you can easily use it anytime in the future by copying and pasting it into your listing's ITEM DESCRIPTION HTML VIEW and then switching to the DESIGN VIEW to finish or continue your listing.PayPal was founded in late 1998 under the name of Confinity. I hope I explained this properly and clearly as it can get kind of confusing even for me. But remember when coping it from that WORD file in the future, that it is in HTML format so when you copy and paste it into a listings description you will need to copy and paste it into the HTML VIEW of the listing description not the DESIGN VIEW. Oh yah, another way to get their logo manually placed into your listings is to copy and paste any paypal logo that you prefer to use from the preferences logo list into the ITEM DESCRIPTION of a listing that you are preparing then switch to HTML VIEW and you will be able to see the logo in it's HTML form, then simply copy and paste it as is into a MS WORD file or WORD PERFECT file for future use. I tried to copy and paste my HTML version Below of the paypal logo that I use but it did not work in the message preview so all I can tell you is to try to find the Html version at the paypal preferences or if you cannot find it then I suggest that you try telephoning Paypal directly at 1-88 (Central Time) and they can tell you specifically where & how you can get the original HTML version to copy and paste into your listings item description. however I forget where I found it, it's been so long since I got it. Paypal has the HTML versions of their paypal logos available somewhere in their site for you to copy and paste into your listings.
